Meets every Wednesday from 2-5pm
No art experience needed! Come create in our beautiful classroom each week! Guided instruction provided by Mark Sadiang-abay for students Age 12 – Adults in any drawing & painting media. Bring your current works in progress or start a new piece using a still life (provided) or photos! Easels, tables and chairs are provided. Please bring your own supplies – see suggested list below. Portfolio prep is also available by appointment and for an additional fee.
Fee: $25 for members/$30 non members each week
Fees may be paid by cash, check or credit card each week before class or online in advance by clicking HERE.
Registration is NOT required but seating is limited – please email or call Mark to reserve your space each week.
Recommended basic supplies:
Drawing: 9″ x 12″ or larger sketchbook, 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, and 6B pencils, charcoal, conte crayons, kneaded (gray) eraser, sharpener
Acrylic painting: canvas, board or paper, paints: red cadmium med hue,yellow cadmium light hue, ultramarine blue, titanium white, ivory, black, flat 8-16 brush, flat 6 brush, round 0-2 brush
Many art supply stores have “kits” for beginners!
A 24-year-old artist born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey, Mark Sadiang-abay grew up with a love for the visual arts and learned to work in a wide range of media with a specialty in painting, drawing, and photography. His dedication to his art continues to push him to develop and evolve as an artist. In May 2016, Mark graduated from Pace University in New York City with his Bachelor of Arts Degree and is now living and working in New Jersey as an active artist and painting instructor.
